The secret to the success of most senior leaders is rooted in their genuineness, their capacity to manage their own responses, and their ability to influence people. More than anything else, responding effectively to others is the core competence of a senior leader. It is the primary factor in building and maintaining trusting relationships with individuals and teams.
In this inspiring and provocative session, Bruce helps you determine how irrational fears, faulty beliefs and lies you believe, can get in the way of your optimal effectiveness. You will share with others in the room how these have become obstacles in your work, and then learn a strategy for a fearless breakthrough. By the end of this session, you will develop tools and perspective you need to coach yourself through most leadership challenges. You will build a foundation for building trust and leading fearlessly™.
- Recognize how irrational fears, faulty beliefs, and anchor lies can derail leaders’ performance at all levels in an organization
- Understand what happens inside when “retroactions” are stirred up and what they can do to overcome them
- Apply a 6-step strategy to overcome behavioral reactions that obstruct optimal performance
